What do you do in your free time?

I love to cook and bake, often diving into detailed and time-consuming recipes. My passion for cooking began when my grandmother taught me to make Thai green curry paste from scratch. Although I didn’t pay close attention to her instructions when I was younger, I re-learned the process after she passed away. It became a way for me to feel connected to her and preserve her love for cooking. I’ve since expanded my skills, developing and perfecting various recipes, including sourdough bread. My sourdough starter has been going strong for almost eight years now.

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?

I’d spend the day on a warm beach in Hawaii, soaking up the sunshine, swimming, and snorkeling. I’d also explore the lush forests and hike to a waterfall for a refreshing swim. Hawaii is one of my favorite places, and I’d love to experience its natural beauty to the fullest.

Pets?

I’m a huge dog lover with two fur babies. Abbey is a sweet senior golden doodle, and Maya is a sassy, salt-and-sweet Pomeranian. They bring immense comfort and joy to my daily life.

Why do you love your guests?

I deeply appreciate the trust and loyalty my guests show by allowing me to help them look and feel their best. Seeing their smiles and knowing I’ve made their day better is incredibly rewarding.

David Ryan Salon is truly a gem. The people here genuinely care and are incredibly uplifting and encouraging. The salon has cultivated an amazing work environment and culture. The opportunity for continuing education and learning from fellow stylists is a huge perk. Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. Being part of this team in Trophy Club feels like finding my forever home.
