What gets me up in the morning is a fresh set of goals that evolve with each new day. These goals are always aimed at improving my future, whether it's building stronger relationships with my clients and coworkers or advancing my business. With over 40 years of experience as a stylist, I’m excited to share my knowledge and continue working towards my retirement, nurturing relationships with family and friends, and creating a country-style retirement home with my fiancé. I dream of having a garden and three four-legged family members—two horses and a mini Highland cow (so cute)!

I specialize in curly hair and understand the love-hate challenges that come with it. I believe that using the right products can make a huge difference for curly-haired clients. Additionally, I enjoy doing shortcuts, men’s cuts, pixie cuts, and stacked bobs. I also love offering chemical services such as Brazilian blowouts, keratin treatments, coloring, and highlighting.

Advice to my younger self

Start saving from day one of your work life. It doesn’t matter what your salary is; every cent, small or large, makes a difference. You can never get back lost time in the market or years spent building financial security.

My Hero

My hero is my daughter. I admire her spirit, drive, and accomplishments as a female business owner at such a young age. She put herself through school without any help, bought her own cars and home, and balanced her life perfectly with friends, family, health, and travel. Her journey is truly inspiring!

Three things most people don’t know about me

1. In the 90s, I worked as a cosmetologist for American Airlines, where I did makeovers for new flight attendants. We had to follow strict guidelines for their look, including measuring their hair to ensure it was within regulations. They had to wear red lipstick and adhere to specific weight requirements for their height. How times have changed!

2. I love muscle cars! I’ve owned various models, including Camaros, TransAms, Z28s, and Mustang GTs. My dream car is a Porsche 718 Spyder RS.

3. I hope to have grandchildren someday!
